The MST-700 is an automated tester designed to test Load Switches, Flashers, and Transfer Relays that are used in traffic signal installations conforming with NEMA or Caltrans Specifications.
The operator interface consists of a 4 line x 20 character vacuum fluorescent display and 3 push buttons. All test setup parameters are entered via this interface. The results of each test are shown on the display.
A pass/fail report may be generated for the Load Switch and the Flasher. Reports may be stored on an optional SD memory card. The memory card may be read by any computer equipped with an SD card reader.
The following parameters are tested for each device:
- Load Switch Tests Inputs:
- On/Off Voltage thresholds and Max input current. Outputs: Max off-state current, Max load current and Min load current.
- Flasher Tests
- Outputs: Flashes per minute, Percentage on time, and Overlap time.
