Cameras for public roads

2 lanes · Day and night · Pole or trailer, AC or solar

Warning-only systems capture the license plate information of speeding vehicles and automatically mail a warning letter, with evidence of the violation, to the registered owner. No citations or fines are issued, so it works where ticketing cameras are not permitted.

2 lanes · Real-time to the cloud · Self or end-to-end ticket processing

Cameras capture the license plate information of speeding vehicles, and our back-end software takes care of the full legal process from start to finish, ensuring due process.

Frequently asked questions

Are speed cameras legal in my state?

Warning-only cameras are legal on any public street because no penalty is issued. Ticketing cameras depend on state law. On private roads, HOAs can warn or fine regardless of state rules.

Do we lease the cameras or own them?

You own them. One-time hardware purchase, no lease, no contract, no revenue share. Installation and calibration are included, and Sourcewell (US) and Canoe (Canada) contracts skip the RFP.

Who processes the tickets?

Your choice. You can process them yourself if you prefer, or take aqdvantage of full end-to-end processing with our software system.

How accurate is the plate reading?

With advanced detection technology, the cameras continuously monitor traffic and are highly accurate at measuring vehicle speeds in real time. There are no blind spots within the detection zone, even across multiple lanes of traffic. Pole-mounted illuminators enable the capture of clear images, regardless of available street lighting. Citations generated from the system are 100% enforceable in court.

Do the cameras work with radar signs?

Yes, and that's the recommended pairing: the sign changes behavior for most drivers, the camera handles the ones who ignore it, and the data from both shows the result.
