Frequently Asked Questions

Which trailer do I need?

ATS 3 for neighborhood streets posted 45 mph or under. ATS 5 when you want the largest signs, strobes or a camera. ATS 5 FLEX when the trailer's real job is powering other equipment. Cruiser LT for SafePace 15- and 18-inch signs.

What is the runtime?

Trailers stay powered for weeks at a time, and can achieve full autonomy with solar power. Our team can help advise you on how to get optimal runtime out of your trailer.

Can one person deploy it?

Yes. A simple manual lever with a lift-assist system allows for one-person set-up. Plus, the trailers are easy to tow with any vehicle that has a standard receiver hitch.

Is it fit for all-season use?

Yes. With a continuous-weld steel frame and marine-grade powder coating, the trailers (and the signs mounted on them) are functionally weatherproof. Most ATS-line trailers are still in service after 10 to 15 years of use.

What kind of additional equipment can the trailer power?

All of our trailers are built to power a radar speed or variable message sign. Our ATS 5 FLEX trailers can power additional equipment like license plate recognition, surveillance cameras or other tech you use in the field. We support installation with plug-and-play setups and by working directly with your preferred camera provider when needed to deliver you a fully integrated trailer.
