The APCC system utilizes a serial port protocol (SPP) digital radio in conjunction with access point “brains,” housed in the cabinet. The system’s minimum configuration consists of one APCC and one radio, but also supports multiple radios. The addition of an isolator provides electrical isolation and surge protection (up to 1500V), and AC power cross protection.
