A hex head fastener that is used in low-strength applications. Generally used in low-pressure flange applications. Has a standard hex pattern and is made of low-carbon steel. Used in industrial work, but is not designed for high temperature applications. Zinc plating, retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere. Tensile strength: 60,000 psi minimum.
